Manx Transport Trust were again on hand to ready the 1947 AEC Regent III No 58 for the journey to Jurby. Isle of Man Transport staff took time from routine maintenance at Banks Circus to see if it were possible to get 58 to run. Unfortunately the fuel pump refused to operate, so the prop shaft was disconnected for the journey to Jurby. |
9th March 2009. The fuel pump was found to be inoperative so the decision was made to disconnect the prop shaft to enable the bus to be moved. |
9th March 2009. Having manoeuvred no 58 within the paint shop an effort was made to see if it was possible to start the Regent III. |
9th March 2009. 1958 Leyland PD3/3 No 32 is moved from the back of the paint shop to enable the tyres to be inflated. |
